Since first launching materialcolor.org, I have wanted to create a site where visitors can not only read about, but also view exciting new work in natural dyeing. I'm happy to announce the opening of the Gallery which features the work of Virginia Hoge. If you were lucky enough to attend the Colour Congress 2002, you will no doubt remember her exquisite paintings in the conference hall.
Virginia shares her remarkable journey of discovery in her accompanying article "Painting with Natural Dyes". Anyone who is interested in experimenting with new uses of natural dyes will be fascinated!
